Why take the OSHA Scaffold Training course?
An estimated 2.3 million construction workers, or 65 percent of the construction industry, work on scaffolds. Protecting these workers from scaffold-related accidents may prevent some of the 4,500 injuries and over 60 deaths every year. 72 percent of workers injured in scaffold accidents attributed the accident either to the planking or support giving way, or to the employee slipping or being struck by a falling object. All of these accidents can be controlled by compliance with OSHA standards, and applying proven managerial strategies.
The 4 Hour OSHA Scaffold training provides a comprehensive review of the 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L, related to scaffolds. The course includes review of supported scaffolds and suspended scaffolds and their components, and introduces the elements of scaffold safety and common scaffolds hazards while placing an emphasis on hazard reduction and prevention which includes fall protection, scaffold inspections, hazard recognition, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
The course includes a downloadable Study Guide and other useful references.
At the end of the course, following a successful completion of the test, the student can immediately download the Certificate of Completion. The trainee is also eligible to receive the wallet size Scaffold Card that can be ordered here.

The course had a lot of information that was covered very well. I experienced a lot of trouble with just accessing it with the photo. My work computer did not have a camera and the software would not accept the photo on my laptop at home. I had to use "Hotspot" on my cell phone to access it through my laptop.
