Description of the Circuit Measurement course
The Circuit Measurement online PDH course is a part of the Electrical Engineering category of courses. This course will introduce you to basic meters, meter construction and techniques to use meters in the circuit.
Basic Meters includes: Ammeter, Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, Multi-meter, Wattmeter, Watt-hour meter, and Frequency meter. Meter Construction and mechanism is described in details in this course, including the way meter shall be connected in a circuit and methods used for different value range.
This course will introduce you to the minimum safety precautions measures when to prevent injury or damage to the equipment. It is important to always observe the general safety precautions of electrical and electronic devices.
After completion of this course you will have a basic understanding of the Circuit Measurement instruments and methods to use them.
This course is based on the Naval Education and Training Materials (NAVEDTRA 14175), Electricity and Electronic Training Series, publication “Circuit Measurement”.
This course is intended for electrical engineers and other professional engineers interesting in general knowledge of electrical circuitry measurements.

Course Quiz
To receive the certificate of completion for the above 4 PDH online course, you will need to take a 20-question multiple choice quiz based on the reference material supplied and pass with minimum score of 70%. There is no time limit for the quiz and it can be taken multiple times until a passing score of 70% is achieved.
Certificate of Completion
Once you achieve a passing score of 70% on the quiz you will receive and be able to print your Certificate of Completion as a record of your continuing education. PDH Star will keep a record of your certificate for the duration as required by your state of licensure. You will be able to log on to your account and view and print your past Certificate of Completion.
