4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher SCA-B211

May 23 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

4-hour supported scaffold

Why take our 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User training?

Our 4 Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher online instructor-led training is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely work on and around supported scaffolds in accordance with New York City Department of Building regulations. This awareness course covers key topics such as scaffold types, assembly, inspection, fall protection, and hazard recognition. Led by experienced instructors, participants will engage in interactive sessions, virtual demonstrations, and real-life scenarios to enhance their understanding of scaffold safety practices.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a NYC Scaffold Card, a vital certification recognized by employers and required by the Department of Buildings for all workers using scaffolds on construction sites. Completing the training and obtaining the Scaffold Card demonstrates proficiency in scaffold usage and ensures compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations. Whether you’re a construction worker, contractor, or supervisor, obtaining a Scaffold Card is essential for accessing construction sites and fulfilling job requirements.

This in person or virtual live course is a requirement for an individual to use or work on a Supported Scaffold in New York City. It also grants 4 hours credit towards an SST card.

Scaffold Card is required by 2005 Local Law 52 that requires all workers using supported scaffolds on construction sites in New York City to  receive this training. This training is valid for 4 years and must be retaken in entirety before expiration.
